Dr. Prasad Kumar is a highly experienced General Practitioner with a robust background in hospital-based emergency and critical care. After practicing in India and the UK, Dr. Prasad relocated to Australia in 2006, spending nearly a decade (2007–2016) at The Townsville Hospital.

With a Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), Dr. Prasad combines deep clinical knowledge with a patient-centric approach. He holds a Diploma in Child Health (University of Sydney), an Advanced Diploma in Emergency Medicine, and a Complex & Advanced Certificate in Dermatology.

Dr Prasad Kumar is an experienced doctor who has worked at The Townsville Hospital from 2007 -2016. He completed his MBBS in India and worked in rural India for 3 years before he moved to UK. He Moved to Australia in 2006.

He has worked in various Emergency departments in regional Queensland while undergoing Emergency Medicine training. He has also worked in various other departments including Intensive care, Anaesthetics, Neonatal care, Hyperbaric Medicine and gained extensive experience before he moved to General Practice. He has a Diploma in Child health from the University of Sydney, holds a Complex & Advanced certificate in Dermatology and an Advanced diploma in Emergency Medicine. In 2018, he moved into General practice and completed the Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General practitioners.
